Name your "Coolest Albums" of the 2000's -- a follow up

Okay. following up on some of the criticisms of Rolling Stone's "50 Coolest Albums" list (see http://prince.org/msg/8/268407), the criticism was that the list didn't feature many contemporary albums.

So cast your votes for the so-called "coolest" (not necessarily "best") albums of the decade. I'll start.

Madvillain -- Madvillainy (2004)

Marc Cary -- Focus (2006)

The Bad Plus -- These Are The Vistas (2003)

Beck -- Guero (2005)

Jazzanova -- in between (2002)

Zero 7 -- simple things (2001)

De La Soul -- The Grind Date (2004)

Ghostface -- Fishscale (2006)

D'Angelo -- Voodoo (2000)

Me'Shell Ndegeocello -- Comfort Woman (2003)

The RH Factor -- Hard Groove (2003)

Nuspirit Helsinki -- Nuspirit Helsinki (2002)

Lisa Shaw -- Cherry (2006)

blue six -- a beautiful tomorrow (2002)

Micatone -- Is You Is (2003)

MF Doom -- Special Herbs Vols. 9+0 (2006)

Koop -- Waltz For Koop (2001)

Josh Rouse -- 1972 (2003)

JayLib -- Champion Sound (2003)

J Dilla -- Donuts (2006)

Gnarls Barkley -- St. Elsewhere (2006)

Common -- Like Water For Chocolate (2000)

Bebel Gilberto -- Tanto Tempo (2001)

The reason the original list didn't feature many new albums is because that list was made in 2002.

Sorry. lol I didn't mean to be snotty, and I'm the last person to stop people from making lists! I just thought I'd point out the reason why that original list didn't feature many new albums.
