I can't see the clip but I think I remember seeing that back in the day. I definately remember seeing them the year before doing "The Second Time Around" though. That's an episode they need to air again.

I've said on the org before that I think Howard Hewit has one of the best songs in r&b. he is so underrated imo. love his voice!

And one of the best chests also. Michael Henderson's is the only one I can think of that could top Howard's. lol

I'm thinking it's because they were on the same label and probably the same writers were writing for both groups.
BTW, Howard gives great hugs to his fans, too! I saw him recently and he sounds as good as ever!

Yeah, I've been bumpin' this one a lot lately. In fact, I was just listening to "Three For Love" in a record shop the other day. For some reason I've been digging Shalamar recently and I don't know why. hmmm

Actually, the Howard Hewitt, Jody Watley, Jeffrey Daniels trio wasn't the first Shalamar. There was another guy first that Howard later took his place.
