NIN are in my top three favourite artists, but I don't get the love for this song. It's just so ordinary.
Compare a song as rudimentary as this to something with the kind of raw sexuality and infectious beats that something like Deep has. There's no comparison. [Edited 4/24/08 9:44am] The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I'm having so much fun with the multi's.
By the way ... it's probably worth noting that the stuff Trent releases to radio these days is generally the more 'disco' stuff from whatever project it might be. ie Capital G and Hand that Feeds.. You know .. the fun stuff. You can bet if May 5 gives us more new tracks they'll be a lot deeper and harder. CANT WAIT ! This one doesn't blow me away but its still my song of the week and hasn't stopped spinning in my player for days. (doesn't hurt that it was free either!) weeeee | |

I've heard NIN tracks that are much more interesting. Compared to Prince these days? I honestly think that tracks like Planet Earth or Guitar or Chelsea Rogers show more passion and unexpected range of approach and texture. I have all the instrumental tracks that were recently made available too ... I think something like Justice is more fun and crazy and interestng as far as new but popular things.
