The Motels When I was a kid I really enjoyed The Motels. Nobody wrote the kind of songs that lead-singer, Martha Davis, wrote; songs about the seedy side of life in L.A. The Motels music was moody and intoxicating. They have two new CD's out now, which I've downloaded and are "so-so". Martha has a new solo record out too which is just "so-so".

Nice thread. I love The Motels. I also had a thing for Martha Davis. That she was hot when I was in Jr. High. I have a few of their albums from this time. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
