No, this is a version he recorded with Cheap Trick. I do not think it was ever released officially.

Googled it for ya;

Rick Nielson and Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick join Tony Levin to back John Lennon on this song. This was the original version of this song -- one of several recorded with this lineup for Double Fantasy -- but rumor has it that Yoko thought it was too hard rock so Lennon re-recorded the songs with different musicians. Frequent Cheap Trick collaborator, Jack Douglas was at the controls.

I did some googling and found a strange Double Fantasy page claiming that
The Cheap Trick version of I'm Losing You was shoot on video.

There are a couple of screen caps near the Nov 10, 1998 section (mid ways down the page)

This web page is OLD... the HTML is not up to date so you gotta scroll down!

The Web page tries to prove that the real footage from a two day shoot in August 1980 was prevented by Lennon or Yoko. They may have shelved the film do to Lennon being ill at the time.

Not really sure myself; you guys can decide for yourself!

If you put Plastic Ono Band, All Things Must Pass, and Mccartney album together and chose a double album, that would have been a spectacular album.. it would have been up there close with White album for me.
