Bangin'....Love the J5 to death. Have all my life. Something I've always wanted was the bass drum from the drumset. From 69-73, the J5 logo, with the hearts, was printed on the bass drum. For as long as I remembered, I always LOVED seeing that bass drum with the logo on there. Man, I would love to get my hands on just the kick drum. That shit is priceless. I wonder who has that? probably somewhere in storage. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I think the drum set was part of the auction they had a year ago "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

It was in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Cafe. They had costumes, awards, diaries, and even demo tapes of unreleased songs from 1972-1990 There was even a catalog that people could buy. I think there may be one on eBay I'm not sure if anyone bought the drums "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. Where is Cory when u need him? Yep- it's on that CD and you can still get some copies on Amazon. The whole concert is amazing! Got To Be There is friggen incredible. What's so amazing about this concert is that Michael's voice is starting to change and he sounds sooo confident on some tracks and then on others he sounds completely un-confident. It's quite fascinating to hear. www.maximum-jackson.com

i know mike was goin thru alot with his vocal change ( there was even some rumors around motown that they would drop them)
but if he does that WHOA-OH-OOOH-WHOA! run one mo time! nah but for real, i got a love hate relationship with this cd/ concert. on one hand its great, but its kinda hard listening to mike sing during this period. he was trying to SQUEEZE those notes out, its almost grating to my ears. I know how hard puberty is on vocals, I never recovered. mike did very well

In 1973, the Jackson 5ive were still pretty popular, although they were slipping down the charts. And Jermaine had just gotten married to Berry's daughter, so I don't know how that would've worked "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them.
