I'd need 3 years to really decide if I even wanted to be w/ him for the "rest of my days". If a dude asked me to marry him after just one year I'd be happy that he was so into us BUT I'd look @ him a little sideways, just a little & if I thought it was right (yet too soon) we'd have a 2 year engagement to make sure we were both still into it.
