When a brother is losing an argument and wants to save face, he's got to divert attention away, anyway he can. wink

When a pathetic looser can't win an argument and wants to save face, he's got to divert attention away, anyway you can

Here's a compilation of all your diversions :

-When I asked you why all these pictures of the MJ playing instruments all through, you assume (with no proof) that he's learning

-Then you said he was nooddling...

-Then I brought an article of the Jackson 5 where MJ states that he could play drums and learning piano, and you decide to discredit ENTIRELY the WHOLE article and every single thing said for the false and gross statements made ABOUT HITTING HOME RUNS and the Diana Ross story...

-Then, you refused to explain how Marlon could play most of the instruments in his solo album if the guy never play on stage ???

-Then You refuse to explain why it would be a lie that MJ was learning piano in the article knowing that at the same period of time Randy Jackson leanef to play instruments ???

-Then, I brought a picture of the jackson 5 in the studio, and you assume that "As for the drums, anyone can keep a basic beat going".

-Then I ask you Michael Jackson is credited playing instruments on his album if he can play instruments at all ???

-Then you bring Marlon's sax album...

But the biggest thing, is you want to convince us that Britney, Madonna, and Timberlake can play instruments because we can find videos

"It's obvious Timberlake can play keyboards"

I call that diversion... lol

Pathetic looser...

falloff Keep it coming! You are making my day. lol lol lol lol

So do you think they are faking ???

Ok,I imagine the phtographer telling the Jacksons to ACT like if they really can play instruments, and make sure that it looks real enough to fool the public...

Here's a interview of Michael Jackson in 1971 telling that he can play drums and is learning piano :

http://www.time.com/time/...-3,00.html

And you gonna tell me that Michael is lying to the reporter...
[Edited 4/7/08 13:15pm]

You just answered your own question to explain the pictures of him at the keys in the '70s. He was trying to learn how to play. That's what the pictures show. Someone trying to figure out the instrument, which was what I said earlier. Whether he ever got there in the end is another issue.

As for the drums, anyone can keep a basic beat going. I'm sure Michael can do that. Even Madonna can do that. She played drums in a band for a while. Michael was probably kidding himself though when he said he can play. Keep a primitive beat going for a few minutes? Sure. Play? I doubt it.

Hello!

Keith Carlock is a player.

Omar Hakim is a player.

Michael may very well be able to "noodle" around on drums, but as for being able to PLAY....ummm, NO. lol

Sorry but noodling around in the studio does not make Mike a musician. In almost 40 years in the music industry I have never heard or saw footage of Mike playing any instruments at a concert.

Let's be honest Mike does not play instutments and he slapped credit on his CD because he can.

Well that doesnt mean hes not a musician. He composes and creates music. Just cause he may not play an intsrument, it doesnt discredit him at all.

I have always wondered why reporters & freaks like you never do research when it comes to music and michael jackson promotion company claims. I have notice that the white media has rewritten history when it comes to him. They gave him credit for things he didnt do first. These message boards are polluted with this! rolleyes

All the way up to 2003 in the Martin Bashir Interview, Michael was bragging about "creating" the groove for Billie Jean.

- Facts: Billie Jean

Hall & Oates released in 1981 "I Can't Go For That" - Listen to the first minute of this song.. the Bassline, the Groove.. even where the interesting sounds come in match... 1982's Billie Jean. The only difference is Quincy & MJ sped up their version a 1/2 a second.

-----

- Facts: Moonwalk

When the media & freak "fans" write stuff like this 25 years later and dont do research is the reason why this guy gets credit for a moment he didnt do anything but copy a Dance Move called "The Backslide".

The Backslide/Moonwalk was ON TV in 1979 from a known dance group Electric Boogaloo on Soul Train. The exact dance move.

The Backslide/Moonwalk was on TV again in 1982 with Shalamar's Jeffery Daniels moonwalking on Top of the Pops in a song "A Night To Remember".

The Backslide/Moonwalk was IN MOVIES in April 1983 from Mr Wiggles in the Movie Flashdance. Compare his Backslide using a unbrella to Michael Jackson's Moonwalk on Motown 25 released May 16th, 1983.. Night & Day and yes it was in Pop Culture in the mainstream before MJ's "transcendent moment in pop history"

-----

- Facts: Race - ie: First Black Video on MTV

Michael Jackson has said he is the first black video on MTV. This has polluted the mainstream way way waaay to long! This has been written so many times, no one checks their facts and its just rewritten over & over.

1982 Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five "The Message" was the first black video on MTV in October of 1982.

1982 Prince & The Revolution - "1999" was the first black artist in heavy rotation on MTV in October of 1982

1983 Prince & The Revolution - "Little Red Corvette" was the first black artist to have 2 videos and clearly more then a one hit wonder for the station... February 1983

-THEN Michael Jackson's "Beat It" was released on MTV in March of 1983.
-----

- Facts: Lip Syncing doesnt take talent!!

We are talking about a guy who if you watch the old performances that he feels that The Sea should Part 99% of them were LIP SYNCED! Watch "most" of his Tours and almost ALL of his TV Performances were Lip Synced.

Watch his TV Performances they are ALL Lip Synced! His Motown 25 (lip synced) His 1988 Grammy (lip sycned) His 1993 Super Bowl (lip synced) His 1995 MTV & Soul Train "comeback" (Both lip synced)

2 Places you CAN NOT Lip Sync were:
- Arsenio Hall Show: Michael used the show for publicity, but couldnt be exposed for being over hyped, so he went on to get some odd Award with Eddie Murphy.

- Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for his Solo Career... He actually went on stage with a CAST on his Leg Pretending to hurt his leg, hurt or not, someone in the audience of his peers said "SING!!!!!" He just had nervous laughter. He could have said " I broke my foot and can dance tonight, so I am going to sit on a stool and sing Ballads.

Facts are Facts. But with Michael it seems everyone ignores them?
ALL of his MAIN - MAJOR - HISTORIC TV Performances were:

ALL Lip Sycned!

- His Peak * Motown 25 - Lip Synced straight off the album. You can see towards the end, he doesnt know if he should pretend to sing the verse or the double ups (because of the way it was mixed for the album) this moment messes him up and his dancing, so he grabs the microphone stand and crunches forward.

- His Comeback Post-Thriller * Grammy's of 1988 - About 15 Minutes Long and LIP Synced. The last 30 seconds are live and his voice sounded like poop!

- The Biggest Stage of the World * Super Bowl 1993 - As big as you can get! 100% LIP Synced. When he does the talking part, the cue is off and the song starts to early and MJ has to put down the live hand held microphone.. and then place the Head Piece Mic down and start pretending to sing.

- Music Comeback after his "personal problems" * MTV 1995 - 15 minutes Long and ALL LIP Synced. He even did something even odder... Kurt Loder reported on the Post-Show that Michael had a "Cheering Applause Track" with the Lip Sync Track! Kurt in fairness said he didnt need it because people clapped.. BUT MJ is so calculated that He & his Record Label wanted to FOOL the Public at home.. that he puts a Pre-Taped Cheering Track? wow pretty sad

*Billy from the Smashing Pumpkins even said when interviewed on the MTV Music Awards Post-Show... that this guy get 3 Standing Ovations for Lip Syncing for 15 minutes???

- Music Comeback after his "personal problems" * Soul Train Music Awards 1995 - It was the same exact Lip Synced stage show from the MTV Music Awards (except no Slash) But the second song which was a Ballad "You are not alone" NO dancing, NO Excuses of being out of breath.. Michael Lip Sycned that as well!! He was just standing there pretending to sing.

So where is this talent? WHERE??? He is a joke, it was all smoke and mirrors and if he had 1/16th the talent he pretends to have he wouldnt have to do NONE of these "Jacko Stunts"/ Smoke & Mirrors hype.

CORRECTION: According to MTV & VH-1 themselves, Michael's Billie Jean was the first black video on MTV. Prince's Little Red Corvette was the second black video on MTV.

As far as first video from a rap act on MTV, RUN-DMC has the honor with Rock Box.

Ok, what about when he was child? Michael's career never started with Thriller.
Why can't you address his J5 career. Why are you basing Michael whole career post-Thriller.

I do actually agree with alot of what you are saying, apart from him NOT being talented. The Lip-synching in the last 20 years or so on his solo tours have been more like music videos on stage and haven't done his crediblity any good, but the fact of the matter is wasn't always like that. By concentrating on the more recent era, solely and ignoring the prior eras you are delibrately down playing his talents.

I don't think anyone disputes that Michael Jackson has done some great things, only that his hype surpassed his performance after 1984 or so, and that it's hard to watch the decline of someone so talented.

I said it before, but we don't want to dislike him. We were all into him. It's just that he lost grips on what it was that made him special in the first place.

SoulAlive

To the person claiming that "Billie Jean" is a clone of Hall and Oates' "I Can't Go For That".....

disbelief rolleyes

You can listen to almost any song and say it's a rip-off of another song. Many songs have similiar sounds. In the Prince:Music and More forum, there is a thread suggesting that Prince stole ideas from Journey's 1983 song "Faithfully" when he recorded the song "Purple Rain".These kinda claims go on all the time.

falloff So you're telling me that not only is Michael a drummer, guitarist and pianist, but Marlon is also a saxophonist and Jackie is a dab hand on keys too. This picture proves all that, lol. Funny how they never shared the fruits of this session with the public, isn't it?

So do you think they are faking ???

Ok,I imagine the phtographer telling the Jacksons to ACT like if they really can play instruments, and make sure that it looks real enough to fool the public...

Here's a interview of Michael Jackson in 1971 telling that he can play drums and is learning piano :

http://www.time.com/time/...-3,00.html

And you gonna tell me that Michael is lying to the reporter...
[Edited 4/7/08 13:15pm]

I don't know about the interview (I don't have time to wade through all of that), but insofar as photography is concerned, because I actually work with photographers, and have even been on shoots with the occasional celebrity over the last 14 years and counting...um...yeah, they can indeed be told to pose in front of instruments and ACT like they're playing, while actually not knowing how to play anything at all. It's pretty easy to fool the general public, but the ones who can always tell whether a person plays or not are actual musicians. You can always tell by the positioning of the hands, whether or not they're holding the instrument correctly, position of finger on keys or frets, ect., ect.
