'Cause of the editing comment?

Yeah, especially in the IMAX format, makes me nauseous just thinking about it.

Didn't make me nauseous (handheld-shot films are more likely to do that); it was just annoying. It might have slowed down as the film went on, but the opening of the concert was just frantic.

Frantic? It was borderline migraine inducing!lol Other than that it was good, not great but good. Buddy Guy was the best part.

Plus, ya know giant Jack White... drool love
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Missed the first part, walked in on "Jumpin' Jack Flash" & I hate that song so I was cool w/ being late lol

The editing didn't bother me, but maybe I missed the most frantic part?? shrug

Buddy Guy was GREAT, Jack White sounded awful & was lucky to be asked, Aguilera has a great voice but she bothers me to no end. Gross when Mick came up behind her ill

AGREED on his astounding energy, no wonder he can't keep any weight on omfg He sounded as good as on record, I love that...

Too many missing songs that I wanted to hear, but I'm not up on their concert habits so maybe I was expecting too much. Wanted to hear any of the following: Angie, Fool to Cry, Salt of the Earth, Miss You, Monkey Man, Can You Hear Me Knocking, Beast of Burden (my favorite!!), Moonlight Mile, Let It Loose, Stray Cat Blues, Factory Girl, Gimme Shelter, Emotional Rescue, Waiting on a Friend, You Can't Always Get What You Want, 19th Nervous Breakdown.

Glad to have gone, but I would have liked to pick the setlist exclaim

'Kay, I'm just back from seein' it in IMAX. Observations:

The cutting's like MTV on amphetamines. rolleyes

If you've never played on stage in a rock band, this is a very good representation of what it's like.

It's a master class in hook-writing and the "fine art of guitar-weaving".

The energy Jagger displays is astounding, for a man of that age (hell, even for a man of my age lol).

Courtney, from Survivor: China is in the front row. I believe Bruce Willis is in the audience, as well.

Martin Scorsese? Still a douche. razz

So... is this thumbs up - down - or to the side?

I'm going this weekend, I saw this show and it had an energy that couldn't be described. Curiosity will make me find out if they caught it on film or if Martin was just a fan boy.

I dunno. As Norm MacDonald put it recently, "I can't even have dinner with someone; never mind all that filthy stuff afterwards." lol

Saw it at the IMAX and also have to say that the camera jumping and quick editing didn't really bother me so much either - but I also wished that during certain songs it would stay stationary for at least 30 seconds.

Liked the vintage footage, but it wasn't really a documentary about them as I'd thought, just a show of their performance stamina (Mick is superhuman I'm convinced) - which was very good.

Set list wasn't great great (loved that Marty was waiting on it till the last second) but their catalogue is so vast... it would be hard to pair it all down and please everyone.

I give it a "B+" - seeing it in IMAX.
