JANET - DISCIPLINE!!! I can actually play the CD from beginning to end. I haven't done that since DAMITA JO, I think. White Americans, what? Nothing better to do? Why don't you kick yourself out? You're an immigrant too. -White Stripes

Massachusetts by the Scud Mountain Boys is back in rotation - in the ten or so years that I've owned it, that record's never strayed too far off my radar. I don't know if there's another person in the world that likes it besides myself and sci-fi author william gibson (i picked it up after he listed it as a favourite in an interview), but it hits all my musical sweet spots.
The Fall are my favourite band - exactly what I want music to sound like. Their last two albums had been mediocre to poor, but the new one is surprisingly good, maybe even great... [Edited 3/29/08 6:16am]

Radiohead: Kid A
Bjork: Debut I'm trying to understand why everyone thinks so highly of her. So I've been playing this one at least once a day. I do enjoy it, like I enjoyed it in the past. Not quite sure why it's genius, but I figure when I start the next album this weekend, I'll start to see the trend, etc. etc. Beatles: White Album Lawd, I love this shit. Never been a huge Beatles fan, but wanted to see why they are praised so much, and I'm starting to 'get it' now. Ottis Redding: This is getting my pussy completely wet. DeRon - Ministry of You Great stuff. Great Soul. What more do you need?

all of these are in constant rotation:

and think about how you're treating me now. Then try to reconcile them, if you can. But you don't even remember, do you?"
