I don't know if Jermaine could be under the stage lights without a grease stroke but all he has to do is a 45 minute set on a Tom Joyner tour.

Open with "Tell Me I'm Not Dreaming". In the setlist put: "Do What Randy Did". "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy" and "Don't Take It Personal".

I would probably leave out "Let's Be Young Tonight" and "Word 2 The Badd".

Encore with "Daddy's Home" then "Let's Get Serious" and close with "Feeling Free."

After two years he could buy a secret Jackson crib away from the ex-wives.

You left out some of his most popular "Quiet Storm" ballads from his smooth crooner phase, though. What's a JJ setlist without:

"You Like Me, Don't You?"

"You're Supposed To Keep Your Love For Me"

and "Why Don't You..."

those songs were fixtures on Quiet Storm playlists for years long after his star power faded. I think a lot of people would be disappointed not to hear those golden nuggets. Do you know how many black folk were "necking" to those back in the day...? lol lol lol lol

The problem is Michael lol He doesn't want to participate and I doubt that the brothers could pull it off without him.

Another problem is that they don't have me as their musical director, and co-creative director for the show. cool But we can arrange that.

lol But I'm dead serious. If they're gonna pull off an old school type revue, then they need me to help them. Stay away from predictable set-lists--pull out the gems that true fans love and not just those songs released as singles. No pushing the tempos past 120bpm, which they love to do. None of the tired arrangements and choreography they've used over and over and over. No fireworks. disbelief

I'd help them put together a tight show that old-school fans would headbang

Considering how long the Jacksons have been in the music business,it's amazing to me that they can't do some behind-the-scenes stuff, like directing music videos, managing other artists,or working as a record executive for one of the record companies.Randy is fixing cars? Marlon is stocking groceries?? Come on now! Didn't they learn anything from their many years in show business??

I mean,if Paula Abdul can get a good-paying gig as a host on a popular reality show, then I know damn well the Jackson guys should be making money too. They shouldn't be broke.

All these old acts still touring and bands that have lost and replaced lead singers… it’s a shame the Jacksons weren’t able to continue on without Michael. Having seen Michael solo I think I would prefer to see him with his brothers at this point.

Over the years the fans always criticize the brothers and made them out to be these bad guys to poor Michael. But at times when I hear Janet talk it seems that everyone is cool with each other. I wonder if maybe it’s Michael who’s not such a great brother.

Well they need to get over it and get their butts on a Tom Joyner Cruise or an AllState Family Reunion gig and make that paper. Shoot, a couple of years ago I saw CHIC headlining one of the nights at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and there was nary a damn orginal member up there other than Nile Rogers, and they turned that big ass auditorium OUT. Folks didn't sit down for AT LEAST the first 20 minutes because we were dancing so hard. cloud9. On top of it, festivals like Montreux treat all thir artists VERY well, it's not like the Jackson brothers would be in deplorable conditions that would be shameful to the family. It's a very luxurious setting that is willing to showcase music from jazz, soul (old &new), and pop, and they treat the artists like royalty. I don't see why they haven't gotten their lazy butts on the phone to at least get a hook-up with a gig like THAT and bust out with "The Love You Save" wacky

That's very true.

Back in the days you could put it on FM 98 at 11:30 PM after your girls parents have gone to bed and you've climbed through the window because you were thinner then and..... Bam!

There you go. Throw those songs in the set list and Jermaine will get all the ladies on the tour.

I think the Jacksons (This is reaching now. Stay with me folks.) should use psychology and tour as "The Brothers Jackson" and get a white chick to replace MJ. Like a Black Eyed Peas move.

They could get one of those Pussycat Dolls that Tito dates.

Make sure she can sing and has a wonderful a** and get her to spin and flip and sing harmonies.

MJ will be so jealous he'll come running to tour.

It'll be the "F*** Uncle Sam and Creditors Tour"

You are absolutely right! With all of those hit songs, there is NO REASON why they can't get off their lazy asses and make some money. And you know what? If Michael doesn't want to do it,they should tour without him.Granted, they would probably have to play smaller venues, but hey....a paycheck is a paycheck.Earth Wind and Fire tours without Maurice White (their leader) and somehow, they do okay. It's time for the Jacksons to get back to work!!
