TRON

Who's going to see Morrissey?

He's playing a handful of shows in Europe during early November. Does anyone know what songs he'll be playing? Does he have a new album coming out? Will he be coming to the States? Anyone that can supply me with some details would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. smile

He played here in Stockholm last friday. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go as i had planned since I was out of town. Some friends of mine went and they said it was great concert.

He played mostly songs from his solo career such as Jack The Ripper, November spawned a monster, speedway, suedehead, hairdresser on fire, everyday is like sunday and sister i'm a poet. He played three smiths songs: meat is murder, i want the one i can't have and there is a light that never goes out (as encore).

some new unreleased songs were also played: The first of the gang to die, irish blood enlish heart, i like you.

he is currently without a record contract so no one knows when a new album will be coming out.
I woke up sunday morning with no way to hold my head that didn't hurt
and the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad so I had one more for dessert

Wow. Thanks for the info! That's thorough, especially considering you didn't even go.

I last saw Morrissey about 2 years ago...

I was so opposed to going (cos he's too old to be so whiny) but at the last minute a friend got on the guest list so off I went...(who can say no to a free show?)

IT WAS SUCH A GOOD SHOW! A slew of Morrissey goodies and Smith gems like "shoplifters of the world"

Tron...if he tours the states, let's pick a city and go...I will never skip a show of his again!
