Portishead's new video for comeback single 'Machine Gun' has appeared online.

The video for the first new track from the band's new album 'Third' went live on the band's website www.portishead.co.uk at 8pm last night (March 18).

The single, the first to be taken from Portishead's first new studio album in eleven years, can also be downloaded from the site.

The single is to released physically on vinyl and CD on April 14.

yeah it seemed like the most obvious single on the album right away.

Mostly a vinyl Box Set. You get the album also as an MP3 in the USB stick. I am figuring that they want you to get the vinyl and get around the hassle of having mp3's of the album (which would be available via iTunes or on CD) I wonder if there will be a special ED CD as well.

if they just had the USB stick for sale, i'd be into that. it's cute, and i'm tired of buying special edition stuff that takes up more space on my shelf.
