Nancy Wilson

Check this out:

http://www.youtube.com/wa...fVsTpiPHDg

I could not help noticing in the comments that Erykah Badu sampled the first beats for her track "Honey". I initially pre-ordered her new album Amerykah but I looked more into the breaks used and I am more interested in getting the orginal albums now. I got Ramp album which is great and used for "her" American Promise track. I am getting Nancy Wilson Album Music on my mind. Her track has a Brazilian vibe to it, I will to mention this to my wrecka stow source to find out more about it.
Enjoy cool

I have it on vinyl but damn my wrecka playa doesn’t work anymore. I am so in love with I’m In Love.

I think one of the other things that I really like about Nancy aside from her voice and music is that she appears to be a classy lady in every sense of the word.

namepeace nailed the classic one.

Here's 3 older and 1 more recent...

If you like the sound of her voice, especially early in her career, don't sleep on...

...Little Jimmy Scott

Even though he's a man, he was a big influence on her vocal style.
Jimmy Scott is a poignant story and a very unique singer.
