I need some shagalistic '60's music

You know - the kind of stuff Austin Powers would groove to.

Any suggestions?

P.S: Don't read my thread about this in GD. It went horribly off-track.

A couple of those might work.

I'm looking for songs that when you see them being played in a film, a guy in a dancing gorilla suit is sure to appear.

Couldn't find that one one iTunes. I found "The Spirit of Vampyros Lesbos" but it's not the right kind of music.

tA,

That was an amazing trip down memory lane! As a 60 year old white man from Chicago you hit the nail on the head for what we was listening to back in the day and you chose only the quality shit (mostly, Henry the 8th... naaahhhh).

From reading your posts I've always assumed you are a black man in your late 30's or maybe into your 40's but this recent post makes me wonder cuz I wouldn't a pegged you to be so up on your 60's psychedelia.

Anyway, whoever you are, you definitely got soul and I always learn from reading what you contribute.

Let me add to the list Crimson and Clover by Tommy James and the Shondells.

It has to be on iTunes only because I have to put the CD together today.

That's too bad. My suggestion is exactly what you are looking for I think. It's really cheesy.
