It was hard to pick 'cause I love pretty much all his video's except for "Liberian Girl" but my top 5 faves would be:

1)Smooth Criminal
2)Ghosts/Thriller (Sorry can't pick between these two)
3)Billie Jean
4)Who Is It-A VERY underrated video IMO. One of his best.
5)Remember The Time

Honorable mention: Beat It

"Billie Jean"---his best video! Back in early 1983,I thought this was the coolest thing on MTV.It put mostly all the other videos from that era to shame! If you look at the early music videos from 1981/82,they're pretty simple and cheap-looking."Billie Jean" looked lavish and exciting.I love how the ground lights up as he walks around.Brilliant video!!

"Beat It"---again,with this video,Michael took it to another level. He forced other artists to step up and create some truly exciting videos too.Notice that, after 'Beat It',numerous artists came out with big-budget videos that featured street dancers and slick choreography...Pat Benatar's "Love Is A Battlefield"....Lionel Richie's "Running With The Night"....Donna Summer's "She Works Hard For The Money",and all of those Janet Jackson videos that came later.Michael started that whole trend.

"Thriller"---there's no denying that this is one of the most amazing videos ever.I remember when it came out,it was an EVENT.Kids would rush home from school, turn on MTV,and wait for the next airing of this video. At the time, there was no other video that was generating this much excitement.

"Leave Me Alone"

"Earth Song"

No Ashes to Ashes? You crazy!

Actually, myname, it would've came in at sixth. I debated 'tween Life On Mars & Ashes To Ashes, but for me personally, LOM, edged it out. I undestand though, that in the over-all music world, it's considered more the classic.
I still would have posted it, but the title of this thread is 'your top 5 of "that guy we always discuss" vids'.
So, you know.....
