For the longest time I would skip this track when listening to the album. Then all of a sudden I let it play last night. And I suddenly realized that "Intervention" is one of Madonna's most beautiful songs. Its so weird that this song would hit me so hard and so fast. Just an amazing track right there.

I absolutely love it. It's one of my favorites from the album.

I love it as well, it's such a feel-good song! I didn't like it at first when American Life came out, but it grown on me, like the whole album.

I absolutely love how she sang the first verse during "Mother And Father" on the Re-Invention Tour. You can hear this version on the I'm Going To Tell You A Secret live CD.

I love intervention, but i feel its production lets it down a bit.. Would love to have heard a more upbeat dancey version of this.

I like it. The whole American Life album has some nice songs on it. Compared to Confessions and Hard Candy (of which we know 3 songs so far) it's not commercial enough.
AL is probably the only album of Madonna, that doesn't have a real hit. (Die Another Day is... it a hit? and it's not really a AL song.

well anyway, I like Intervention. It may be my fave on Al beneath Hollywood and Mother & Father.

Love this song Supposedly,this is her song to Rocco...kinda like "Little Star" was for Lourdes.It's a beautiful,mellow song.

Aren't you confusing it with "X-Static Process"? I think "Intervention" was written during the Music sessions, but I never heard that it would be an uptempo dance track.
