Tracklist for Whitney's new CD

A friend of mine just downloaded the entire new Whitney Houston CD 'Just Whitney'.The album is scheduled to be released on November 26,but there are *RUMORS* that, since it has already leaked on-line,Arista has removed all but three of the songs and added new tracks that nobody has heard yet. So,if you're a Whitney fan and you really wanna hear these tracks, you'd better download the album while you can.You can download the album at places like Winmx,Kaaza, and 21st Century mp3.Here is the tracklist---

Whitney Houston 'Just Whitney'---

"Whatchulookinat"
"Tell Me No" featuring Carlos Santana
"Love That Man"
"Things You Say"
"My Love" with Bobby Brown
"One Of Those Days"
"On My Own"
"Dear John Letter"
"Unashamed"
"You Light Up My Life"
"Whatchulookinat" (P.Diddy Remix)

let's hope that 1 of the remaining 3 is not her cover of "you light up my life."

Oh btw, when you try to download this album, you may come across a track called "Just The Lonely Talkin' Again".This is NOT a new song,it's from Whitney's second album, which was released in 1987.I don't know how it got tangled up with these new songs.

Wow, I don't have her other cds so I thought Just the Lonely, was one of the few strong tracks on her new one. Come to find out, its an old track, oh well, down to two good songs.

I also made a cdr of the new tracks and its only 40 mins worth of music. Thats with two Whatulokkingat tracks.

Just download:

Unashamed and On My Own and call it a day. Wait for new stuff.

I hope Mariah's is not like this. At least she won't have a lame ass Bobby Brown duet.

"Say it Loud - I'm Black and I'm Proud!!!" - Brother James Brown

"Make my funk the P-FUNK...I want my funk uncut...." Brother George Clinton

A few thoughts/opinions/rumors about this CD...

***Does the world REALLY need a duet with the oh-so-talented Bobby Brown?? Vocally,he's not in her league and whatever happened to his OWN career, anyway? wink

***"Tell Me No" should be an interesting track, becaue it features guitar by labelmate Carlos Santana. Then again,Carlos works with EVERYBODY these days,so this collaboration may not be that "special" after all...lol...

***New artist Tweet wrote a song for Whitney (I think it's "Dear John Letter",but I'm not sure).

***This CD has been delayed so many times, and even the Novemeber 26 date is tentative and subject to change.Does anyone else get the feeling that LA Reid (Arista) is getting paranoid and trying too hard to get a hit CD from Whitney??

Hey,check out this news item from my daily newspaper...

"Leak of 'Just Whitney' may be silver lining"

by Marilyn Beck and Jenel Smith in Hollwood

The leak of the new Whiteny Houston CD 'Just Whitney',to the Internet may actually be the silver lining in a very dark cloud for the trouble-plagued diva.'Just Whitney'---her first full-length work of original material in nearly five years---isn't due to hit record stores until Nov.26.The Internet piracy will provide a nifty excuse if the CD doesn't do the usual impressive Whitney numbers when it finally makes it bow.

Houston has alot riding on 'Just Whitney'.This is her first time out since battling tabloid stories about erratic behavior and accusations of substance abuse. And this is her first release since signing a $100 Million contract with Arista Records (ironically, the singer's own father is suing her for that same amount of cash).

ha ha

the internet will be just another scape goat for her poor showing, it would have NOTHING to do with the lack of originality or vocal talent
