I was about to ask, as "X" even been released in America? There are so many import versions and at reasonable prices, it's almost not worth waiting for EMI (or Kylie).

I wonder if it's that EMI is being realistic about not having any expectations for another Kylie release or if they do and are just fucking up. Kind of like the music business as a whole...Are they lazy or dumb?

It's on US iTunes now. Don't know about physical release.

Actually, as much as I've been staring at her for years as my desktop wallpaper fix, I do have to say she's sometimes starting to seem a bit desperate (or her marketing team, whatever). It's a whole different thing being in an episode of doctor who, but when this feat. rapper on a single thing is getting old even in the states, even in the commercial sense, doing that is just inexplainable.

X hasn't done well because it has no proper direction, and the singles are dated in a commercial sense (whether they are "dated" or not as just well-written and stylish pop music is a different debate). Adding rappers is just the icing on the cake.

I saw it there and it appears to tracks that are not on the regular release...then again, there are so many damn eidtions of it, who knows? I want to get a physical release and from the US (to support her sales her) if possible. I'm not in a rush though. I spent quite a bit at the record store (most of it was a credit though) and will be buying Janet and Erykah's new ones.

I've heard full tracks on the radio ("Wow" on the BBC channel and "Speakerphone" is being played on the modern dance pop station as if it is a single) and it's nice and fun and poppy but it's kind of been there before type stuff. It's a landmark album in many ways and while I don't expect Kylie to do a 180 (or even something like her "Impossible Princess" phase) again, I think we were all expecting something that was more...Wow!

This is a straight up attempt to sell in America, cause this shit wouldnt fly anywhere else if she did it. This is why im glad GIRLS ALOUD stay out of the US market, the last thing i need to hear is "Biology" featuring Soulja Boy.
