I might get a lot of flack for this but, I have never considered Aretha the "Queen Of Soul". In my opinion, she is an overrated singer. You want a soul singers that could be contenders for that title okay.... For me Gladys, Minnie, Tina and Chaka,( and even with Chaka, I am talking about when she was with Rufus)...These are women who I think fit that title nicely. Aretha, just does not do it for me at all.

It looked to me like the last part on the teleprompter either wasn't there or Beyonce couldn't pronounce what was there because she hesitated ever so briefly before she actually said "The Queen"! That pause makes me think, the heffa just didn't know what else to say, we all know thinking is not her strong suit!
