PrintableMary is alright. I like some of her songs and some just make me puke
like deep inside and her murderous remake of natalie cole's classic our love. She is genuine when she sings. I have never been driven to buy one of her cd's. I will admit her latest two singles off her new cd are catchy and definitely more tolerable than that garbage cd alicia keys has out. Don't laugh at my funk

 She's alright,I guess.I don't like her remakes though.Like Mariah Carey,she's just not very good at interpreting other artist's songs.Even Chaka Khan wasn't too impressed with Mary's lame version of "Sweet Thing". | |

She was trying to copy Chaka too much on the album version (but I don't think it's bad at all). Her best cover is probably "As" with George Michael.
