Actually, it was just Michael and Will previewing some of the remixes from Thriller 25

This seems like the thread to post this in since this thread is about new pictures, and the image below are two new designs for possible outfits Michael might be wearing for the Thriller 25 special.

Michael Jackson has old man hands, he should get botox injected in them probably. I mean the dude got plastic surgery every other place I guess he didn't think about his hands. That's an understandable oversight (This is a very mean post because MJ obviously has mental issues where things people say and the perception people have of him caused him to do the extreme to himself so it isn't right for me to potentially cause a complex about his hands if he so happen to read this thread...hey van hunt happened across this site who's to say Michael Jackson can't... anyway I apologize but will not delete it for comedic purposes, thank you)

Michael has always had long bony hands confused

Michael looks really good, just relaxed and its hard to believe hes nearly 5o, lets hope he is talking about the new album cool

Well it's all just in planning stages at the moment, but apparently Michael is putting together a Thriller 25 special. Most assume it will be a concert, and it looks that way since there's been reports of his rehearsing, but it could just be some BS where Chris Brown and other MJ clones in R&B performing Thriller songs in "tribute" to him and the album or he could just do some TV special where he gets people to talk about how much they love Thriller. But MJ himself is involved and will appear in this special, whatever it is.

Why order Thriller SACD when Thriller 25 has just been released? I'd say the sound quality is actually better that the SACD. Every song sounds 100% better except Billie Jean. They've made the snare so echoey that you hear it again a beat later and it just sounds off. You can't get into the groove of it anymore.

Instead of a predictable,guest-filled TV special with today's artists talking about how much the album "influenced them",blah blah blah.....how about a really informative documentary with Michael,Quincy Jones and Rod Temperton in the studio, talking about the songs?? How about some REAL insight into how these historic songs were created?

SoulAlive - You're joking right?!?

I am always amazed how Michael Jackson is able to reveal in people who they really are.

In case you haven't noticed yet, Michael does not follow the rules of feminine/masculine. He is above those rules, as he is above the rules of race. This is in large part of what makes Michael so interesting, aside from his now extinct art of performance. Michael is strong/brave enough to be completely different. As he continues to defy rules imposed by culture/society, Michael continues to embody the definition of cool.

I am always disappointed when I come to a Prince forum and people still think like SoulAlive. I expect Prince fans more mature than this.

Michael Jackson is a genius. He does not need career advice from average everyday people who type from their computers. Michael Jackson knows what he's doing, and he is one of the best artists of our time.

NONE OF YOU CAN "FIX" HIM. MICHAEL JACKSON DOESN'T NEED TO BE FIXED. MICHAEL JACKSON DOES NOT NEED TO FIT TO CULTURAL/SOCIETAL NORMS. IF HE HAD EVER DONE THIS, HE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD THE CAREER THAT HE DID.

The day Michael Jackson starts trying to be like everyone else is the day he stops being interesting. Michael Jackson would not be special if he tried to pretend to be like everyone else. He is an artist.

I am always amazed by the arrogance of those who think they can help Michael Jackson's image by saying, "If he would just be more like (me and those around me), he would be popular again" or "He just needs to look more like a 'man'". Who is to say that Michael Jackson does not look like a man? Who is to say that Michael is not Black? You guys?!? Get real.

The only reason Michael looked like everyone else at the height of his popularity was because everyone was trying to look like Michael. Boys and girls, men and women were all trying to embody different aspects of Michael's beauty.

You arrogant individuals have no idea how naive you are. If you knew what it took to be successful, you would have done it already for yourselves. No one here needs to give Michael Jackson advice. To do such is absurd. The man is a proven success, and those of you who offer your own advice are not proven successes.

Oh please rolleyes NOBODY is "above the rules of race".That's absurd.Michael is a black man who wants to look White. This has been established years ago.

This is in large part of what makes Michael so interesting

falloff so skin bleaching and multiple surgeries are your idea of "interesting"? A 49-year old man wearing a long black wig/weave is your idea of "interesting"?

Michael is strong/brave enough to be completely different. As he continues to defy rules imposed by culture/society, Michael continues to embody the definition of cool.

Yeah,he's really cool,isn't he? lol

I am always disappointed when I come to a Prince forum and people still think like SoulAlive. I expect Prince fans to be more mature than this.

Oh for Christ's sake! All I said was that a short, masculine haircut would be cool for him at this point.Androgyny is out. We're not in the 80s anymore. He's been wearing that long, hideous wig/weave for years now,and it's played out.His hair looks like one of Janet's old weaves that she discarded years ago.

Michael Jackson is a genius. He does not need career advice from average everyday people who type from their computers. Michael Jackson knows what he's doing, and he is one of the best artists of our time.

Yeah,he really "knows what he's doing" these days, doesn't he? That's why his career is basically non-existent.That's why he continually gets into trouble with the law.He "knows what he's doing" rolleyes

The day Michael Jackson starts trying to be like everyone else is the day he stops being interesting. Michael Jackson would not be special if he tried to pretend to be like everyone else. He is an artist.

So,having a neat, short, masculine haircut is "being like everyone else"? confuse You can relax, sweetie.Michael couldn't be "normal" even if he tried. He'll continue to be the weird freak that you love so much.

You guys?!? Get real.

So,are you seriously suggesting that Michael looks like a 49-year old African American man? lol You really need to get out more.

You arrogant individuals have no idea how naive you are. If you knew what it took to be successful, you would have done it already for yourselves. No one here needs to give Michael Jackson advice. So let me get this straight.I voice my opinion that a short, masculine haircut would be a great new look for Michael, and this makes me an "arrogant, naive" person? You need to drop the attitude and realize that Michael makes himself an easy target for this kind of criticism. And btw,I didn't even criticize him in my original post.I made a simple suggestion.I liked that photo that DarlingDiana posted.

While your comment did spark my response, my comment was more generally intended to address all of those who think they know it all.

Do not dismiss me as a deluded Michael Jackson fan. I am merely an observer.

It appears to me that those "experts" who arrogantly think they know what Michael Jackson needs are perhaps more out of touch than the fans who defend Jackson's every move.

You will believe what you are conditioned to believe by your society. Forces of racism and homophobia are constantly re-enforced upon people's minds.

-Michael Jackson is above the rules of race: that is why he has been able to sell his music beyond the Black community, to which he still belongs. Michael Jackson is Black, but his skin is grey in shade - illustrating how he is above the rules of race. There is not a white man that shares the skin tone of Michael Jackson. Therefore, Michael Jackson is certainly not white, and such an oversimplified understanding is immature and absurd. You are not the authority on the definition of race.

-Michael Jackson is indeed interesting, especially as he has altered his appearance. His appearance is a part of his artistic expression. Just because Jackson is a 49-year old man does not disqualify him from being an artist.
Michael Jackson does not have a problem with plastic surgery, but rather the know-it-all's who do. It appears to me that the problem in fact lies with the many "expert critics" have "issues" with accepting Jackson's alterations - as many of the "experts" cannot handle such changes. So yes, Jackson's physical changes are undeniably interesting.

-Michael Jackson is cool. Androgyny is cool. Long hair is cool. Christ is cool. Being a freak is cool.

-Yes, Jackson is a 49-year old Black man. Michael Jackson is an artist, so he cannot be expected to be an average everyday 49-year old Black man. His exceptional appearance is maintained as a part of his artistry.

--I do not mean to call you arrogant an naive because you suggested a new haircut for Jackson. I am merely disappointed that you think short haircuts are masculine, as that reflects your societal conditioning. Masculine haircuts do not have to be short, and hair length should not be a measure of one's masculinity.
My subsequent comments were more generally addressed to all of those who think they understand Jackson's legendary success better than he himself does.

--I actually agree with you that Jackson intentionally brings a great deal of this upon himself. Jackson wants people to view him as a freak, as that plays in his favor. Being a freak makes Jackson the ultimate center of attention.

You arrogant individuals have no idea how naive you are. If you knew what it took to be successful, you would have done it already for yourselves. No one here needs to give Michael Jackson advice. To do such is absurd. The man is a proven success, and those of you who offer your own advice are not proven successes.

WHAT THRILLER 25 SPECIAL? eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek

Well, it's all in rumour stages at the moment! I did not get confirmed at all!
