I have a greatest hits CD by them lol My favorite songs are...

***"Love Will Keep Us Together"---if you were around in 1975,you will know this song.It was everywhere!

***"Muskrat Love"---from 1976.Despite its strange title,it's really a beautiful song.

***"Do That To Me One More Time"---sultry love song from 1979.

They have a a few other cool songs.I suggest you start with the greatest hits.My CD is called 'Captain and Tennille-The Ultimate Collection'.

Love Will Keep Us Together
The Way I Want To Touch You
Disney Girls
I Write The Songs
Lonely Night (Angel Face)
Shop Around
Muskrat Love
Wedding Song (There Is Love)
Song Of Joy
Can't Stop Dancin'
Come In From The Rain
Circles
I'm On The Way
You Never Done It Like That
You Need A Woman Tonight
Do That To Me One More Time
Love On A Shoestring
Happy Together (A Fantasy)
Gentle Together
Keeping Our Love Warm
We Never Really Say Goodbye
Por Amor Viviremos

At 22 tracks, this might be a little too much Captain and Tennille for the casual fan,but if you're a 70s fanatic like I am,you'll enjoy most of it.They specialize in adult contemporary pop.

I can't decide which is most bizarre:

a) This song.
b) The fact that this song was a hit.
c) The whole "Captain" concept.
d) The pristine quality of this footage. confused

I definitely have warm memories of C&T. Their best-of (along with the Beatles and the "Grease" soundtrack) was pretty much the soundtrack of every road trip I took with my parents in our VW van. smile

I like their version of Muskrat Love. It was, by that time, I think the third or fourth version of it. America had a hit a few years earlier with their recording of the same song but I prefer C&T's for the synthesizer muskrat calls alone. lol

That's the only three I know from them. I like all three of those, especially "Love Will Keep Us Together". I remember their variety show in the 1970s when they used to sing a lot of covers but I didn't care for it.
