Hope it is NOTHING like the Beatles tribute.

Fergie looks nice, and when she speaks, she has a sexy and confident voice.
But something about when she sings live..is unbearable. Yuck. feeling ill

Thank you. I actually sorta forgot what this is about. Chaka won her awards off camera I gather... How typical.

did we really have to suffer through the Kanye West performance? I'm sure there are other Grammy nominees who had someone in their life pass away this year, yet they are not on stage singing about it...

Just an interesting fact if anyone is curious, that was the first time RINGO was on the stage at the Grammies in his career, and Paul by the way, has only been on the show ONCE. So to Mary J who was bitching, get in line sweetheart.

That she was rooting for Amy Winehouse because we need more people who actually sing and are not vocally compressed/processed in the industry.

Keep in mind that I had seen 2 Beatles movies recently (A Hard Day's night & Help!)

It was cool that the Beatles won that soundtrack award.

But I seriously lost it when Ringo spoke into the mic.
"Hello, my name is Ringo."
Then he raises his hands and the crowd screams. I think I got starstruck for a moment there because of that accent of his. I could still remember listening to his voice in the movies. It's as if he wasn't a day older than he was in the 60's.
confused kinda strange saying that cuz he's 60 something, but his voice makes him sound so young biggrin
had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

The "Thriller" tribute will be right after Janet performs. I think both Jackson's missed the Grammy boat this year. No surprises at all.

A bunch of stupid shows implied Cher would perform...she is only introducing Tina and Beyonce, which is wrong on so many levels....Tina is so in another league...Beyonce should be singing backup and try not to fuck up!

Fergie and John Legend tried to out boring each other and it's a draw.

What is with an award being given to a soundtrack which is basically slightly different versions of the Beatles originals?

Now the "Once" soundtrack..now that is great new music!

I definitely have to disagree with you there. Robin's song got incessant airplay, but the musicianship and vocal performance on FBM are far better.
