What I love about Fergie is that she is always able to top herself in tackiness and obnoxiousness, in her music and in her videos, from her BEP until recently. Unfortunately, she's been letting me down with the crap-factor lately, with Glamorous Life and Big Girls Don't Cry. But she's back on top again with the video for that song that samples the Girl Can't Help It.

She's so damn annoying you can't help but love her. I can't anyway.

Whoo lawd, I just heard her duet with John Legend eek

Props to her for making it through Meth Hell. But wow, her voice nowhere NEAR what it was during Wild Orchid-pre drug addiction.

These chillin need to stay off these damn drugs. Once your voice goes to hell, it's just gone disbelief

Oh yes you can! I can't help feeling the urge to throw things at the TV whenever Fuggie defiles the screen! As I said, her success is a stain on us all. Fuggie is our punishment for our sins.

Easy explanation:

She looks and acts like a white girl who puts out (hot, but not unattainably hot) - typical club chick. She's tacky, but clean-looking (except when she pissed on herself).
She sings like a white girl who listens to R&B and tries to sing like the "sistas" but retains her "you can easily tell I'm white" voice and stays in the pop genre where its "safe".
She hangs with people of color (BEP) which makes her look "cool" to other white people who have less friends of color. (The Gwen Stefani effect) yet she stands in front of them enough to stand out, knowing that the mainstream will always pay more attention to the scantily-clad blonde chick than the "others".
She's over-the-top enough to acquire a good gay following - short skirts, high boots, big weaves and pancake makeup go a long way for some.

I could not have said it better myself!!! nod

Explain'd.

Fergie is successful because, these days,CRAP is mostly what sells. You know things are pretty bad when a song like "My Humps" wins a Grammy and becomes one of the biggest songs of that year disbelief

Yes, they're called...ready?...TEENAGERS. Lord, people around here act like they never liked some shallow pop fluff when they were 12 years old.

faces of Meth indeed

She should have stayed buried and only remembered as that random chick in that group of random melanin challenged chicks that had okay voices and made good music for 8 year olds or Disney and PBS shows

she's the kirstie alley of pop music, and if you're into science fiction, there's always her face to enjoy. though i prefer when kirstie played the vulcan in that star trek movie - i think fergie has based her entire career on that one film role, though like moonbeam always says, fugz always ends up looking more like a klingon.

i just re-read this post and it makes no sense to me. lol

I knew him from then too. Actually, aside from his nude photos, that's really all I know him from lol The thing I've always hated about him is that his voice sounds exactly like a scumbag I used to date. He was a junkie, and actually killed someone (accidentally), and screwed me over, royally. Oh, and he got some chick pregnant while we were dating. rolleyes

it made sense to me. although she looks more like that Klingon knock-off from Farscape than an actual Klingon. to me, anyway.
