tricky2	Kool & The Gang - "Summer Madness" Rare find? I just found what looks like a rare 12" "Special Extended Mix" for only $2.99. It looks like an orginal pressing from 1975. The extended mix is cool. Side one: Original Version: 4:16 Extended Mix: 6:45 Side Two: Summer Madness (Magic's Groove Mix) Any one heard this?

The "Magic's Groove mix" sounds like a Live In-Studio version, very similar to the Live version, complete with the backing female vocals. It's very cool!
I like them both, now that I heard this version.

The Extended Version is just a loop of the building spacy keyboard part at the beginning of the song, that's repeated about four/five times. A little annoying IMO.
It has a cool extended Benson-esq guitar groove before the keyboard solo towards the end.

Nice to know that tried to make this a single and get more play at the time. I don't remember seeing this commercialy avaliable.
