I always thought it was very much like a Rufus / Chaka Khan track.
Vocal arrangement is very Khan. I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

Thank you for putting up that screen rushing07. I'm totally new with doing all of that with youtube. I've know of this song for years and didn't know who did it till this weekend. I've had it on repeat for days. [Edited 2/7/08 12:08pm] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Vocal arrangement is very Khan. Sharon Bryant has admitted more than once that she's from the "Chaka Khan" school. Just like Vesta, Meli'sa Morgan, Angela Winbush, Sandra St. Victor and Lisa Fisher. As for Atlantic Starr, I think they lost one of their origins when she left the group, so to speak. It went downhill for them after that. She on the other hand said that she's more comfortable being a "session singer" as opposed to a lead singer. That song is one THE BEST songs from them among.. "Love Me Down" "Am I Dreaming?" "Send For Me" "Touch A Four Leaf Clover" - Which is my absloute FAVE from them

My boyfriend was crackin' on their album names. He said since they have Radiant and Brilliance they need to release an album called Effervescence.

That's why I threw in the "like."

Oh wow, hopefully they will. Atlantic Starr was a cool band. My mom had the album with the song "Secret Lovers" in it. Was it "As the Band Turns"? I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
