I dunno...
I'd still do Madonna.
I realize that she's an old & well-traveled highway,
but she has a kind of sensibilty, a desposition, that sorta makes me feel that she's the type of mammer-jammer who has mastered every way that it is possible to totally bastardize various acts of the Karma Sutra.

Madge-fans,
holla.

"It's too advanced for you."

No it is fucking depressing and I listen to a lot of different types of music.
I just don't listen to music to be depressed and I do think a decent singing voice helps.

I get a little tired of hearing how certain artist are just to advanced for the public to understand when they really just suck at being entertaining her interesting.

I don't care for Madge but, she does undertand the concept of being entertaining.

That is your opinion. I would not pay two cents to see this guy and the vast majority of the public would not do so either.

It's too advanced for you. nod

I must admit though I wouldn't advise anyone to watch the video as it's depressing as hell, but the songs's great, even if this version's a bit slow. Sadly, none of the best Nick Cave stuff is on Youtube, but he's a giant. He's a succesful novelist and scriptwriter too, which tells you right away he's coming from a diferent angle to most.

Boy, are you wrong big time on this. I'll be the first to admit, that video is depressing as hell. I only ever watched 30 seconds of it. In fact I wouldn't watch any Nick Cave video. But he has recorded some fantastic songs and is a great live performer.

Let's be real here. You've never heard this guy's stuff before. You just took a brief look at the video and made a rash judgement based on that snippet. So the real truth is you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Check out "Gates To The Garden", "Halelujah", or "The Lime Tree Arbour". Hell, even just play the song I linked to without watching the video. When you've actually done that, then you'll be qualified to talk to me. Until then you're just blowing bullshit through cyberspace.
