Amoeba Records!! Just spent the day at Amoeba in Hollywood, the world's biggest wrecka stow!
Great place. Picked up a whole bunch of Funkadelic: Hardcore Jollies, Electric Spanking, Let's Take it to the Stage, Cosmic Slop, Standing on the Verge. And a whole bunch more stuff including rare DVDs. Plus I traded in a whole bunch of old DVDs. This is the last great record store methinks. [Edited 2/16/08 15:19pm] | |

Used to go to the Berkeley one all the time, there's some used stuff I wanna pick up so I should head that way soon. Great store    I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it | |

Ummm...let's just make one thing clear - Amoeba Music is CLEARLY the better store. First off, you can't call individual record stores, because there's only an 800 number (I tried to explain why this is bad, but all I got was a runaround). Then, all I ever seem to hear coming out the mouths of Rasputin employees is nonsense and talk-out-your-assed-ness. Maybe it's cuz they're young, dumb and think they're all that, but it's almost painful to talk to Rasputin employees.
