Chris Brown or USHER

Who you prefer is the better entertainer. Usher been around for almost 2 decades and get my vote, but Chris Brown has a lot of talent that could propel him to the top even better than Prince in my opinion but no where close to Michael Jackson!! The BET top 25 dancers of all time had Chris Brown #4 over Beyounce, MC HAMMER, USHER, Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul. Only Michael Jackson and James Brown along with some brothers only better. Chris Brown is not that outstanding yet that he is over any of those 5 I have mentioned!!.

Chris Brown and that is simply because he talks about Michael being his biggest influence almost every chance he gets. Where as, Usher, seems to just rip people off and pretend like he is original. Come to think of it, Justin kind of does the same thing.

As far as talent, I'd say they are about equal. But I have a feeling Chris is a better dance, truth be told.

Nooooo, you must be thinking of Justin lol. Usher may be a cocky mofo but he has always given credit to his influences. I've heard him mention Michael and Bobby Brown (probably his biggest influence) on several occasions. Anyway, I like both Chris Brown and Usher. I think Chris is a better dancer, but overall i'd have to go with Usher because he's a much better singer and I like his music better.

Beyond the MSG show, I've never really heard him give credit to MJ. It has always been about Bobby Brown from what I remember him saying in interviews.

I could VERY WELL be wrong, cus I don't follow him much at all.

Chris still needs alot of time to grow. They lie in the same protool R&B category...(where Prince was doing rock / funk / R&B and Pop by the time he was Chris Brown's age don't even try to compare). Are there any1 these days even attempting to write their own songs?

I saw Usher 2X in concert and I think he is a BRILLIANT per4mer. Chris still got long way to go to prove himself worthy of being compared to Usher let alone any of the other singer. It would be more of an argument to compare to Mario or Omarion.

Not by some run-of-the-mill contemporary R&B act like Chris Brown.
Chris Brown has about as much musical talent as a shit stain on Prince's underwear.

i remember in 2004 for the mtv show the lick. trevor nelson asked him who influenced him. and he said freaking james brown and sammy davis jr, wtf those are michaels idols. and when asked how to become as good as you possible can , he replied you have to study the greats to become a legend. also an answer michael once gave. and when asked who is a better dancer he justin or mj he did not directly said he was the best, but kinda said it. people supose to say things like that about you not the other way around

Cheeseburger you need to go somewhere with that shit. The only thing them 2 have in common is that they both have high singing voices, except Chris sounds like a whiny little bitch who hasn't hit puberty yet.

Ain't that the damn truth. That Doofus believes his own press when he really isn't all that. He's a Michael Jackson clone at best. The songs are cool but I don't see anything original about Usher.

You both speak the truth in regards to both Usher and Chris Brown's places in the big picture. If Usher would have gotten his head out of his ass, he might have become REALLY something.

They talked about this once on VH-1, on some MJ TV special, how during the Off The Wall era, Michael was the most humble guy you could have seen on TV. Even he was shocked when he won any awards at that time. (At least that is how he made it SEEM on TV.) Obviously, he had bigger hopes for Off The Wall.

Chris Brown is Usher back in 1997.

Who sings better? Usher, by far.
Who dances better? Anyone's guess.
Who has better songs? Going by ages to be fair, Usher.

I don't know if either of them write, so I can't ask.

I have never listened to an Usher song and thought it was Michael Jackson. It is for that reason, I could never call Usher a clone. He is definitely influenced by MJ but he doesn't sound like him. Jason Malachi is a clone. I have listened to Omarion, Mario, Chris Brown, Jonta something or another and a few others and been taken aback for a second; having to have to listen a little closer to make sure they weren't Usher.
