Your TOP 10 artists of each decade that you have been listening/buying music Well we have done something like this before, but i think with 7 years complete to this decade we can add the 2000's in. NO RULES except just list the decades that you were a part of, meaning if you werent born in the 60's dont make a 60's list. And also its all about the importance to you, not mainstream etc..Also feel free to list artists in multiple decades, (example) if you liked Prince in the 80's 90's and 00's than list him, but considering the work he did in that decade, dont list him in the 00's because you just bought Purple Rain the other day, its based on the release dates for the music. So think about it and give it a go..... Sorry, i just think its easier when you have lived through that persons era. I posted some time ago about how a-Ha were the Beatles to me and people couldnt understand it and thought it was comparing, which it wasnt, but though i love the Beatles music especically from Rubber Soul to Abbey Road, i still didnt live through their time, everything was a highlight to me from them, i didnt see things like the Sullivan show and just that whole mania to really enjoy what it was. Bruce springsteen 9. girls aloud 10. paulina rubio the toughest decade is the 80's to decide and narrow to 10, the 90's was the easier than this decade because alot of older artists have been more prolific in the 00's than the 90's, and their have been a few very prolific new comers in this decade in ryan and norah. Falling just shy in 00's , rashaan patterson, amerie, radiohead, rem but if they can get out some more top notch stuff before 2009 ends, they could jump in at 9 or 10.
