The Parliament albums were better..although Free Your Mind was one of my favorites, but probably my only favorite of theirs other than One Nation.


CAN ANY1 give me info about Trombipulation? I have a 45 with Body Language (i think thats the name) and Crush It and I have Agony Of Defeet on the Greatest hits, but I hear the album aint so great.

However GC was lookin fine with his waves in that era..he shudda kept that look

I'm a Funkadelic man myself... as many of us white punk rock types are. But love P as well! It's cool having two vehicles, there's definite similarities but also big distinctions, makes for a well rounded show.

Well, considering I owe much to the funk mob, if I had to choose, I say Funkadelic.
They had it all. And then some!
But it's really just a slice of the same pie right?

Parliament first. As a kid, we had all their albums. Funkadelic was too underground sound for me as a kid. I didn't appreciate that side of the spectrum til I was much older and my taste grew. So I like both now but my first love is always Parliament.
