Michael Jackson's favourite album... According to David Gest. There was an "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here" marathon on today. When David Gest was booted off they showed him returning to the hotel where Tito was there to meet him. He put on on a CD and said "this is my favourite album ever. It's Michael Jackson's favourite album ever too. We both love it". Or some shit like that. He held the cover up to the screen and I'm pretty sure it's the one pictured above. It's a Glen Campbell album anyway. He didn't say the title of it. But showed the cover for a brief second. It looks a lot like that (^) one. [Edited 1/21/08 4:29am]

Yeh I never heard him mention it. But David Gest is one of his closest friends and probably spend a lot of time around him so he'd know what CD he likes playing at Neverland the most.

I´ve never heard Mike mention this guy´s name. I don´t know. He always talks about Tchaikovskij´s Nutcracker, Beatles or the Bee Gees. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I´ve just watched the Mexican Deposition (you can find parts of it in my thread MJ describing and demonstrating his songwriting process) and they ask him what does his musical collection consist of and he names Glen Campbell as the first name. I don´t know this gua, so this name has not stayed in my mind. So what does he do? Is he a country singer or what? We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

It just goes to show being a fan doesn't mean you know everything about your favourite pop star, even if it is something as mundane as his favourite album.

A few fibs? Are you kidding? He lies about everything. He makes up random stories all the time about his spanish cousins that were adopting and killed by a hairdresser. But I don't think he was lying about this. He doesn't really lie about Michael Jackson. Plus, Tito was in the room too. He would've said "BS! Mike's a Stevie man" if Gest was lying.
