Maya Azucena: Junkyard Jewel Is anyone else feeling this baby? Now that's some soul for ya. Her voice is absolutely incredible. It's all acoustic guitars and some violins and percussions here and there, the band is solid throughout and they really give space for her voice to shine. I'm not usually a fan of all acoustic albums except maybe for The Truth and that's just because P is my man. Most female soul artists bore the hell out of me with their "my man this, my man that" type of lyrics but she's a really strong songwriter with a good range of topics (with the help of guitarist Christian Ver Halen). And the fact that she is so gorgeous also helps Warriors (full band and acoustic versions) http://www.youtube.com/wa...gLhAv9WRn4 http://www.youtube.com/wa...MiS8w5esPw | |

I wasn't feeling it. Her debut ("Maya Who?") is better. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher
