Yeah she did but it was actually Randy who Kim Fields liked in real life.

Hard question!

They both had some of the more topical and serious storylines.

Jo always killed me when she would break down and show her sensitive side...Nancy McKeon was such a great actress (probably still is). But I'm biased as she was probably my favorite character throughout. (as well as Natalie...the lightning bolt cap...classic!)

Tootie was also great...but her squeaky voice annoyed me...she did have the great one liners.

My favorite early FOL ep is when Blair and Sue Ann (early season when there were more girls) joined a group of girls who smoked pot and Tootie and Natalie bought bongs thinking they were for putting jelly beans in!!!!

Great show. I have the first 3 seasons on DVD.

GREATEST LINE OF ALL TIME...

NATALIE - 'From now on it's goodbye Natalie...and hello Hot Lips!!!'

peace

I've been waiting for the 4th season to come out. I hope they don't stop. I loved this show until they got Beverly Ann to replace Mrs. G.

Me too!!!

I read on tvshowsondvd.com once awhile back that sales were pretty low for the first 2 releases that they were considering releasing them in certain markets or online. I check on TFOL every week as I am a completist and my OCD will explode if they dont release the rest of the series....even the Beverly Ann years....which were not as funny.

I watched it in the mid 80s so I'd probably enjoy the DVDs after the point the releases have covered.

Mrs. Garrett should have sat the girls down right that instant! "Girls, we can't afford to do that store extension we planned in later seasons. We need to institutionalize this child right about fucking now!"

My favorite episode was when they entered the contest as "Sexy Lingerie", and El Debarge guested (1985).

Or maybe,
just maybe,
John Travolta sounded like her dong-strapping, box-munching, sexay ass.

If Jo was suppose to be lesbian or bisexual, then how come Jo & Blair didn't become girlfriends before the final 2 seasons?!? lol

Well, I'm sure they would've if they could've.
However,
I believe that
Jo knew that her pride would not had survived it if it ever were to become public.
And Blair would've been banished from the societal circles than she & her family name were catergorized in.
And even though the doors were opening in mid 80's for these types of trysts, it still wasn't as acceptable as it is today, especially when they were both products an all-girls boarding school.
But make no mistake about it,
if given the chance,
Jo would not have hesitated to have a go at Blair's tootie.

Just watching this show at On Demand here in the SF Bay - I still give this show props, even today, for dealing with the issues they dealt with, and in the way they dealt with them. They don't make many shows like this.
