Before, the label was toying with choosing “Migrate,” featuring T-Pain, as the single, but that’s not going to happen. Mariah’s new album, titled That Chick is supposed to be dropping in April. I don’t understand what the hold-up is on the project, I guess there’s just trying to perfect whatever it is that she’s got going on with That Chick. I’m just wonder what the material is going to sound like, what the video is going to look like, and how Mariah’s going to top what she did on Mimi.

Oh god with Midtempo already. She needs to snap out of it already. But im still feeling this album is going to be pushed back a bit. The single is going out to late, she still has to get a video together, now it seems very rushed which could backfire on them. Plus they need get a better album cover, that cover pic is something you put in the liner notes at best.

there's no way it's not co-written by Mariah.

Yeah i agree first impressions from snippets on line are never good. As for the release date, i dont think the album is coming 4/1, i would be shocked if it did. Im trying to get a confirm on the album date, but the lady i used to assist in music retail and company buying, she writes for Vibe also, she told me a few weeks ago that she hasnt been "contacted" yet from Universal about purchasing the new Mariah disc for the company she works for, which i can say isnt a good sign. she said everyone is talking about the record, but no one is talking release date, so she said that 4/1 is most likely not going to be a reality.
