Yeah, it was a seriously terrible episode. The writing is just not there anymore.  People have been criticizing SNL since the start... The Belushi/Akroyd days werent all they are hyped to be plus the show was an excruciating 2 hours long back then... But each season, no matter how weak, has had great comic actors featured here and there and thats what continues my interest... Kinda like each Mariah album -- the best tracks are always the non-released songs and I know that I'll have to be patient to seek out the gems. [Edited 3/15/08 22:53pm] | |

I can see the song being a grower especially once I hear the recorded version. Even still, I'm liking Mariah's swagger this go round. She looks great, nice pair of jeans and a cute top and she seems really confident and comfortable. Almost makes me want to go out and party again. I watched the perfomances on SNL and I like the songs but I got to say this. Does anyone else here think that Mariah sounded kinda rough? She sounded like she was straining in some parts, especially on Touch My Body. I thought I had heard that she had some kind of polyps on her vocal cords around the Emanicpation of Mimi era and if that's true and and she hasn't taken care of that, then she needs to. She can still sing and I enjoyed it but I wish she could still hit the high notes without any problems like back in the day. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |
