Just played twice in a row on B96. It's okay. The lyrics are pretty atrocious. "Throw me down like a teddy bear"?

I predict this will underperform relative to expectations. It will explode at first because she is coming off Mimi and the hype is there, but in the long run it will not be as big as it should be.

I think the chorus sounds really nice.

The lyrics are killing this though! Why is she talking about Youtube & Wendy Williams in this!!??!! I don't know what else she is saying, because I can't understand half of what's being said in the verses. I think this can be a moderate hit, this sounds more like an album track if anything though.

This is exactly the sort of reaction Call on Me received upon release. I hope this doesn't backfire on Mariah.

Well my first impression wasnt that good a few days ago, and it really hasnt changed for the most part, but im more anxious about the video at this point with Mariah, though Brett Ratner is directing he is very HIT or MISS with his work, mostly miss, so im hoping he put some thought into it, since it seems like the video was just thrown together last minute but than again he did throw together "a Public affair" last minute and that was Jessica's only really good video, using the same scenario with getting celeb guests for the video, he is doing that again.

For the record Danity Kanes "Touching my body" from their first cd, was sexier than Mariahs "touch my body", Mariah still cant shake that whole "holding back" image she has.

I love the lyric "I Will Hunt You Down" , Mariah is funny but overall, I am not impressed with the new single at all. It's very generic and sounds like a leftover from The Emancipation of Mimi. Basically the song is filler and very weak for a first single, but it's Mariah so i'm sure radio will eat it up.

Believe me, I said I liked Call on Me at the beginning, too. Then, I recognized it for the piece of shit it was and got over it.

Unfortunately for Mariah, Leona Lewis has turned out an old school Mariah track that radio is currently eating up. Will be interesting to see which does better.
