Goldfrapp A&E

I am so loving this song. I knew it would be totally different that the last two albums (which had a VERY similar sound to them). It's not Felt Mountian, but it's in that vein.

What do you guys think about the new song?

BTW...I predict at least one Goldfrapp thread per week until the album is out.

Same here. I don't see how Goldfrapp could improve on the Supernature sound anyway. They might as well try something new.

Thankfully she has the voice to be able to pull it off nod Besides, they didn't start out as electronica pioneers so it's not like Supernature is their original sound.

While I think Supernature honed in on the sound they were going for with Strict Machine, I felt the two albums were too similar. It's almost as though they felt they needed that follow up in order to get the recognition they have been wanting. I was a little disappointed with Supernature and it's still not my favorite, though I realize many got into them because of that album. I sorta felt they we're selling out by going more dance/electro. Many don't realize the beauty that the first album holds.

Yes, you can tell Supernature was more or less a tightening up and fleshing out of Black Cherry. I think it's a lot more focused than Black Cherry though. Love all three albums really. I'm sure I will love the bejesus out of this one too nod

No. Thanks. You did get the special edition pray I hope so, because the second disk is really worth getting. I love the spanish version of Human and well as the remixes. But I think it's the Physical remake that I love the best.
