But because if she continues down the path she has been and ends up dying, she'll be turned into yet another musical martyr by the media. The Hot Topics of 20 years from now will feature Britney merhcandise ad nauseum.

I know a long time ago, on that Matthew Lauer/Britney thread I said Britney is mentally losing it. People wanted to come out there faces about her LOOKS. I kept saying there is something wrong with her.

bipolar disorder comes to mind actually.

Bipolar meds are serious business! There's no exact science in prescribing them. You sort of have to mess around with the dosages - sometimes for months - before they work well. It's not at all uncommon for people to have manic episodes while adjusting to them. If she's bipolar, and it seems she may be, she needs to stay on them.

If she had any sense she would just lay real, real low, go out to the middle of nowhere and do nothing for about a year. The paparazzi will find someone else to fill the vacuum. When you see these young girls surrounded and pursued continuously it's no wonder they go crazy.

i also hope she gets help. damn this is the biggest downward spiral i think i've ever seen in a major artist.

With the exception of one or two songs, I can honestly say I've never really been a fan of this young woman and never quite understood her appeal. However, what we are seeing with this spiral hers is so sad, I truly hope she can recover and become a stable person and a good parent to her children. Everytime I see pics of those adorable little kids I actually feel pretty sad for all involved

Exactly.She truly needs to get get out of the spotlight for a year or so.Go live on a quiet farm in the south,far away from the media.Forget about an album,a video,any type of public appearances.This is the only way that she will be able to restore,recharge and reclaim her life! She needs to deal with her demons in private.Whatever she's going through,she's making matters worse by remaining in Hollywood/LA.The media in that town loves a trainwreck.They love to see a celebrity self-destruct.

Just heard on the radio that Britney supposed to be getting help from Dr. Phil.

That's what I was thinking, too. I'm bipolar myself, though my symptoms are mild enough I'm considered a "safe risk" not to medicate. But shit, do I have my moments.
