80s Pop Song of The Day - Who Will Be The Fool Tonight 
...by the Larsen-Feiten Band. ...From a SOLID GOLD performance. Released in 1980, it retained a 70s Pop sound. The recording band featured ace musicians including Buzzy Feiten (guitar), Lenny Castro (percussion) and Willie Weeks (bass). Later editions of the band using the name Full Moon included Jimmy Haslip & David Sanborn Thought about this tune when I was trying to run down an album by keyboardist Neil Larsen... 
...Through Any Window (1990). I have a copy of this on cassette somewhere. Neil Larsen has a new album out called...

... I've gotta dig up that cassette. Luke did kill on that record. 
The only thing I didn't like was the Hip-Hug-Her cover. Sounded like an afterthought track to complete the record. tA Tribal Disorder

Feiten co-wrote an excellent track off Chicago 18. Its sugary, synthy AOR. Love it. | |

I didn't know this one, but I like it. Consulting my handy dandy Billboard book, I see it debuted on August 16, 1980 and peaked at #29 on October 11. Nice little tune. Kinda reminds me of Little River Band. | |
