Cool band/person/concept. I've been sitting on Spacemonkeys vs Gorillaz: Laika Come Home for a few months. This thread just reminded me to listen to it. Thanks! thumbs up!

Yes, there 1st album is amazing also. Perhaps more adventurous than 'Demon Days'. But Demon Days IMHO seems more focused. But I LOve them Both equally! biggrin

Agreed.
A friend of mine doesn't care too much for their studio stuff but loves the live dvd. I for one enjoy the whole ride. And for the record, I also like Damon Albarn/Blur etc.
Just got D-sides for x-mas. cool

the live DVD is amazing. it gave me a whole new appreciation for demon days. the song he does at the end for the encore is just beautiful. the whole thing is great, though...and "dare" is hilarious on the DVD.

MTVHD showed the Live in Harlem set this weekend. DAMN!! Visually, it was beautiful. THe band was mostly silhouettes(sp) against diff. colored screens, and there was a huge video screen with animation and guest artists. Looks like it was filmed at the Apollo. Sound-wise it was fantastic as well. Is this the live dvd thats been mentioned here? If so, I need to cop it.
