Love that song and that album! We used to get CDs donated at work, and this was one of the ones I took for myself (along with Hammer's greatest hits). biggrin

Howard was on Michael Baisden's "Baisden After Dark" re-run marathon on TV One channel this past Saturday. He sung a new song off his latest album - he sounded as good as ever! I love this show, because Michael gets musical guest from the past and more underground artists that aren't in the limelight. On one show, he had Angie Stone & Betty Wright perform their latest song "Baby"....THEY KIIIIILLLLLED! Then Betty was on another time by herself where the topic was about "Clean Up Woman" then they had a sitdown with Betty about "Tonight Is The Night"...then she performed Clean Up Woman later. She still got it - incredible energy. MORRIS DAY is the house band's musical director and he is still crazy.

tho' I battled blind
love is a fate resigned
memories mar my mind
love it is a fate resigned

Over futile odds
and laughed at by the Gods
and now the final frame
Love is a losing game

Funny thing about Morris Day, when I heard he was going to be on the Michael Baisden show, I thought he was going to be a musical guest. lol I did not know he was the musical director for the house band. lol But yes, Morris is still just as crazy as ever.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
