This cat gets a lot of (undeserved) hate from many AIC fans at other sites. I know no one will ever match Layne, but I think he does a good job. Here's a recent performance of 'Grind' in Vancouver.

He might be getting a lot of hate because the fans may think that Layne can't be replaced..or (and I hate to go there) because of the color of his skin.

I caught them with Velvet Revolver over the summer and William was great. If you close your eyes he sounds like Layne.

Dont they have an album of new material coming out in 08? I'll def check it out. I've only seen the live stuff on youtube and the VH-1 honors Heart show, but I think he sounds good. The extra guitar beefs the sound up, too.
