i like the novelty value of the USB mixtape thingie, though even back in the mix TAPE days, i still had to make fancy cover collages and draw all over the tapes with metallic markers. mix CDs make the whole design-y part easier. | |

one particular tape i remember was a tape i made for an ex-girlfriend, well girlfriend at the time. i put prince's "thunder" on it as the first track but let the tape roll for half a minute before i put the first track on it. she took the tape home with her at 5 am, snuck into her room cuz her folks didn't know she was coming home that late and she put the tape in the deck but when the tape started she heard nothing lol. so she boosted the volume up louder and louder thinking the tape was just very low and then all of a sudden booms prince's voice "THUNDER ALL THRU" 
she woke up the whole house and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
