2007 - name a hit you loved, and a hit that you hated Tears Dry On Their Own - Amy Winehouse
http://www.youtube.com/wa...6LVGcIC1Tc I know there's a lot of Org debate about this woman, but you just can't deny it. We're witnessing one of the musical legends of the decade going supernova. I was lucky enough to see Ashford and Simpson live in the summer, so this is my chart track of the year. Brilliant Hey There Delilah - Plain White T'S http://www.youtube.com/wa...bJtYqBYCV8 Like an 00's "Breakfast At Tiffany's", this pseudo-profound mobile phone advert of a song will be played for many years to come on the radio. Talkin' loud and sayin' absolutely nothing, it's Jack White-Lite stylings make me want to operate on my own brain, without anaesthetic. Folk off. [Edited 12/18/07 14:39pm]

Maroon 5: Makes Me Wonder. I couldn't really tolerate much on the radio this year, but I really liked this song
Souljah Boy: Crank That. I can't stand this damn song. The kids around here love it for some reason and they're always blasting it I hate it.

I usulaly don't have a choice for single of the year, but it's easily Amy Whinehouse...and it ain't "Rehab". "Tears Dry On Their Own", with it's half cover with new witty and sort of painful breakup lyrics and that singing...wow. Maybe I like this one so much because it isn't a Mark Ronson track. I'm sick of hearing that name after seeing that lame ass crying cartoon video! "Hey There" is a pretty awful song but damn..."Crank That" might be easily the song that is the worst of the year!
