Slip Away - David Bowie
Absolute Beginners (live BBC theatre 2000) - David Bowie Nothing else comes even remotely close at the moment. Those are my friends and my theme songs right now. Also Loving the Alien (live 2003), Life on Mars?, Under Pressure (live with Gail-Ann Dorsey). Damn, I love Bowie.

"Red Hill" by Michael Hutchence.
It's a rare find, but a great song by the missed original INXS lead singer. Remember when u told me that love was touching souls?
Well, surely u touched mine. O{+>

The whole Journey to Addis album by Third World They sold out eventually but their first 3 albums are some of the best roots music ever recorded. They didn't get as much love due to their uptown upbringing, fusing funk/soul with reggae and the fact that they were classically trained musicians as opposed to just relying on raw talent. Seen them live a couple of times and they can still bring it.
