I checked out her first album recently and it was nice. I think her newer work is overrated and people hype her up more than she deserves. I respect that she's doing a different style of music that pays a tribute to 60's r&b, but she annoys me and her voice isn't as good as it used to be.

She is an outstanding and natural talented singer.Unfortunately the medias are more interested in her private life. It is sad to see pictures of her wasted though but her private life is none of our business. She is still young and trying to find herself. I remember hearing one of her songs when she was not so much into the spotlight few years ago and I knew (now this is common sense) she would be famous. I think there is a mix of fascination and jealousy around her and people should stop giving her a hard time.

It doesn't make it any less good. I think that the music in general was a welcome surprise for many...as it never went out of style, people just stopped making it.
