So sorry to inconvenience you. Actually I found your list informative. I don't understand why your feelings are hurt. test

I'm a very lightweight Joni Mitchell fan, but the personnnel Herbie brings onto
RIVER, his tribute to Mitchell, certainly perked my ears. I'm still bugged by celeb/guest star lollapalooza approach with Tina Turner, Corinne Bailey Rae and Joni herself, but notable musicians like Wayne Shorter, Dave Holland and Lionel Loueke have some really good moments. Loueke, especially, is worth noting. He's a West African guitarist who has worked with Herbie in various jazz and fusion contexts, including rhythm guitarist in the Headhunters unit that featured John Mayer and POSSIBILITIES from a few years ago. For 2008, Loueke is being signed to Blue Note and I'm keeping an eye open for his tour. In the meantime, this gem slipped through in late 2006 - early 2007: test

Pat Metheny and Brad Mehldau had an excellent two years of collaboration that started in 2006 with a duet
and culminated in 2007 with Pat signing on for Brad's trio making it the Metheny-Mehldau Quartet. The shows are pretty good , but I missed the tour. Metheny, btw, has always been a MeShell fan. test
