Meet the HOTTEST artist in America today! (bigger than Prince, Springsteen, Madonna and U2)

This artist has exploded onto the American charts in the past two years to become one of the biggest music artists in the country, selling out concerts and commanding ticket sales for as much as $4500 a ticket, outselling the likes of Prince, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Madonna, and The Police. Only the Led Zeppelin reunion compares to the hysteria this artist has generated.

excited

Who is this artist?

Why, it's.....

HANNAH MONTANA!!!

Actually, it's Miley Cyrus, daughter of 90's country music superstar Billy Ray Cyrus. For all of you orgers outside the USA or those who are single or childless, you may or may not know about her, but for all of those people who have children (particularly girls) between the ages of 5 and 15, you probably know more than me who she is. She is the star of the TV show Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel where she plays a young teen named Miley who hides her secret alter ego named Hanna Montana, a young teen pop superstar, from her friends so she can live a normal life.

Makes me ashamed to be a teenage girl. The disney empire flooded the market with her and brainwashed all the kids into liking her.

Like High School Musical, Miley Cyrus has a Disney connection as well.

I don't know a single song of hers though I know of her, and see her as someone for little girls and nothing more. I refuse to believe she's bigger than those artists.

She's certainly outselling them, it seems. Which is sad. If you're my age, you can't turn around without seeing her generic pop ass. I'm tellin' the only reason she is popular is because Disney is suffocating people with her.
The same goes for crap like High school musical and the Jonas Brothers and whatever other generic white pop Disney wants to pull out of Mickey's rear end.

High school musical has to be the most overrated crap, I never bothered to watch it, I'll just end up making a lot of kids cry if I sit through it with them lol

Considering the still questionable manner that hit songs are created today, having hit singles is nothing to brag about. But still, it has something that despite selling a trillion tickets and albums, she hasn't captured the public's immgination with a single track yet (although, I also noticed she had a song that is getting play on the Top 40 station although it's peaked at 40 for the week, so....

For some reason, Hilary Duff had the same issue and funny enough by the time her singles started gaining heat, kids lost interest and the sales were much lower.
